The study doesn't provide any reasons the taxpayers should condone their behavior, though.

Cascade bridge is so unstable, it could collapse under the strain of non-motorized traffic. As long as nobody riding a bicycle crosses over the bridge, there is no danger to those beneath.

As taxpayers, we better hope the law of gravity does not cause a court test of City Manager Worden's interpretation of tort law.

Whatever, everyone knows how overworked the people are down at the court house. I imagine Heland needs a rub down after walking all that bulk up the stairs to his part time office but with his full time free benefits he could well afford to go to the doctor on us taxpayers, if need be.

Kennedy Institute More Important Than Our Troops

This is not negligent political expediency. This is criminal. It should come as no surprise.

This is the same bunch railroading a health care bill through before we the effected get a chance to examine and respond. They are doing their best so that what we don't know won't kill their careers.

Be it running out of bullets in fire fight, or hospital beds, these people are more than just a health hazard.

If the City of Burlington had accepted offers of union assistance when suing the railroad, do you think it would have made any difference in the judgment?
