Burlington Derailed — The Continuing Story

Anita Dunn - "We Control The Media"

Spike,

""Very rarely did we communicate through the press anything that we didn't absolutely control," said Dunn.

....Continued Dunn: "Whether it was a David Plouffe video or an Obama speech, a huge part of our press strategy was focused on making the media cover what Obama was actually saying as opposed to why the campaign was saying it, what the tactic was. … Making the press cover what we were saying.""

The White House Minister of Truth has admitted the news media is largely in their camp. Largely, with the exception of one major outlet, Fox News. As a result, war has been declared by the White House and single party government against Fox News.

This bodes ill for our nation.

The results of a single party dictatorship maintained with a complaint press are devastating. Freedom is trampled, initiative annihilated, and economic decay becomes institutionalized. If you do not believe it, just look around.

Burlington is all the proof you need.

Evaluating a Source

Spike,

"Nothing comes before the party. Not your children, your home, your husband, nothing. You understand, nothing."

No doubt the Court House crowd is upset with your recent massage missives. Their paranoia must be peaked as they try to figure out how you found out.

"You know that anything can happen when the party gets jumpy about a comrade's loyalty."

The local single party is probably poised to conduct a purge. I hope your source is safe.

The Ink is Fading

Spike,

The Ad Vertiser reports B Dalton is pulling their book store from our area. It is a trend that will continue.

The cause of B Dalton's departure is more than just declining local educational levels. Web order giants like Amazon have made it easy to choose from a far larger selection and have paper mailed to the customer. That too is passing.

Like the clay tablet before it, paper is becoming obsolete. Visual characters offered electronically are becoming dominant. Paper will never totally go away, but it will see for far fewer applications.

It is too sad to see B Dalton go away. When the Ad Vertiser goes away, will anybody grieve?

B. Noble

Only Publisher Steve Delaney will grieve.
