Letter to Burlington City Manager Ferneau

If there is anything that could start to bring the appearance of credibility back to city hall it would be transparency.

I ask Mr. Ferneau to have the guts to tell our lousy city attorney Scott Power to begin to itemize his invoices. It is only a matter of turning on the account detail to present an outline of the hours expended.

It is only fair to the taxpayer that we know how much time Power is billing, what he did for that time, when he did it and how much each line item is. There isn't anyone that doesn't get an itemized bill. Even the lumber yard hands you an invoice for (6) 2x4's. Not 7.

Mr. Ferneau, when our lousy crook city attorney Power tells you the bill would be "just too large to submit all those pages" simply tell Power to submit a PDF file with the statement. The city would have the record for review by any taxpayer and some glimmer of ethical behavior would begin to shine on Washington Street.

If Mr. Ferneau gets this done the next thing he needs to do is account for the little league ball park lights that Tim Scott swore were in several locations, intact and with nothing missing. Find the city property and tell us you have found it and that it is intact.

Without taking these two simple steps the pallor of the gray stench from Slagle, Worden, Ell, Power and the drunk ex-mayor will continue to color the walls of city hall.

Not At All Like Burlington

Spike,

"An effort is under way by a group of citizens to remove Mayor Mike Schares from office."

"Trial for the mayor of Dunkerton and a relative over a disputed traffic stop has been delayed."

The Mayor of Dunkerton discovered he is not above the law with local law enforcement. If the Mayor of Dunkerton wanted to avoid trial for traffic violations, he should have hired a certain former Burlington City Manager to mismanage Dunkerton.
