It seems one of Falcon's readers has uncovered another problematic local fire chief. West Burlington Fire Chief Mike Heim was hired in November 2010 to lead the WBFD.

According to yesterday's post the Chief has failed to purchase Iowa license plates for his personal vehicle.

No, not to buy his license plates. The Police Chief needs to walk down to the fire station and hand the fire chief his newest Iowa token of taxpayer appreciation to go along with that new fire truck - a ticket.

The city will provide councilors with an Apple iPad to access weekly council packets, and view city emails and correspondence. The city will reimburse councilors for roughly $600 worth of purchasing expenses."
